With 35 years experience in the field, Louise Hayman is widely recognized for the breadth of her communications and public relations expertise. During her career she has served in state and local government, non-profit organizations, and public corporations. Her skills range from managing communications programs and their staff, consultants, and vendors to providing strategic communications counsel to elected officials, corporate chief executive officers, and presidents of statewide and regional organizations.
Immediately prior to joining The Artemis Group she served as Director of Communications for the Comptroller of Maryland. Ms. Hayman also served in government at the state and county levels as Chief Communications Officer to the Governor of Maryland and the Anne Arundel County Executive. She has earned a reputation for her excellent work promoting the work of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, directing Maryland’s millennium observance and managing the communications and volunteer programs of the Maryland Historical Trust.
