Located one block from the State House in the historic Murray Hill district of Maryland’s state capital, Franklin House and the property on which it stands enjoy a rich history extending back to the 18th century. Franklin House was constructed over a century ago for U.S. Navy Admiral Asa Walker’s wife, Anabell Grant Walker. The Artemis Group purchased this historical Colonial Revival three-story structure in 2004, transforming it into one of the premier properties in downtown Annapolis.
Restored to its original luster, Franklin House serves not only as a place of business for The Artemis Group but also as a resource for its clients. Spacious conference rooms provide an elegant setting for meetings and brainstorming sessions that help transform obstacles into business opportunities. Not only is the Franklin House within walking distance of Maryland’s legislative and government office buildings, but clients also find great value in our ample parking.
Each January, The Artemis Group hosts a Franklin House gathering to celebrate the start of the Maryland General Assembly’s Legislative Session. This event gives Maryland’s Senators, Delegates, clients and community members a chance to take in the grandeur of this restored gem.
